Cómpeta
Cómpeta, the ‘pearl of Axarquia’,
sits at over 600 metres above sea level on the southwest facing slopes of the Sierras de Almijara, part of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park in Málaga province. Behind the town, the imposing 2000 metre high mountain of La Maroma gives shelter from colder winds during winter and provides a backdrop for one of the most expansive views of the Mediterranean coast. In winter, a dusting of snow can be seen on its summit.
Beach Day?
Nerja, Tore Del Mare, Torrox, Algarrobo
All within a short drive of the villa. We have cool boxes, for taking picnics and drinks. Beach parasols and beach towels, everything you need to a fab day out.
Hiking
The area is becoming recognised
as walkers paradise.
With some spectacular walks, from outside the villa gates, you are truly spoilt for choice. There a number of trails to choose from. These trails are available on the Komoot App that are posted by walkers that have graded each trail for you. It allows you match your trial choice to the time you have available and your fitness level, as some are practically challenging.
